Hi! I'm Young Jung. I'm a fashion designer based in New York and specializing in knitwear.

Greek Aesthetic
The collection is inspired by the neoclassical aesthetics of the photographs of George Hoyningen-Huene and the paintigs of Tamara de Lempicka, which are represented with draped silhouettes, pleats, and a neutral color palette.
Distorted Beauty
The collection is inspired by the raw sexuality and the twisted, distorted, and intertwined body shapes depicted in Egon Schiele's paintings. The designs convey these sensations through knitted fabrics with manipulated cables and stitches, as well as twisted, drapery silhouettes and details.
Keep Calm and Do Yoga
Meditation is a part of Yoga activities. It induces people to focus on breathing and reflecting on themselves, which helps to keep calm. Similarly, the theme of Moonassi's artwork also has something to do with self-reflection and examining one's relationship with oneself. This theme is broadened to consider relationships with others in other artworks of Moonassi. Also, you can practice yoga with other people, which can result in building intimacy. They have in common in terms of focusing on strengthening relationships with oneself and others. So, I'd like to combine two subjects into one collection and represent the theme with entangled silhouettes and layered patterns.
Released
This collection is inspired by the relaxed mood in David Hockney's paintings and his depiction of water splashes and waves. These influences are reflected in a soft shapewear collection, featuring gathering, shirring, sheers, and creative fabrics.
Another Paradise
In the Bible, Eve is commonly described as the one who has committed the sin. But I wanted to express Eve as the one who independently decides to eat the fruit rather than being tempted by the snake; the one with free will who can choose her life without the constraint of fate. So I expressed her combined with the snake through the garment.
Constraint
The collection is inspired by the concept of constraint, regulation, and pressure caused by pursuing perfection. The designs show these sensations through structured and tight silhouettes that wrap around the torso.
